Honda has confirmed rumours it’s signed Guy Martin for this year’s TT.
The Lincolnshire rider will line up against TT legend John McGuinness in the Superbike events after a year away from racing.
They’ll be riding the brand new Fireblade SP2 – a bike described by Guy as ‘a weapon’.
In a statement released today he said he had to do ‘a lot of thinking’ before committing adding he ‘didn’t want to grow old regretting not giving the Honda a go’.
Team manager Neil Tuxworth says the whole team is ‘excited to get on track’ and put the new machine through its paces.
